Welcome to Shadforth Parish Council website.  Shadforth is a village in County Durham, England and  is situated a few miles to the east of Durham. The historic centre of the village is designated a conservation area
Shadforth is also a civil parish that also incorporates Ludworth and Sherburn Hill.  The Parish Council meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month.  The agenda and minutes can be found on our website and village noticeboards situated in Sherburn Hill, Shadforth and Ludworth.

We currently have 5 vacancies for Parish Councillors.  If you are interested in becoming a Parish Councillor, please head to the Vacancies section, complete the Expression of Interest form and email to shadforthpc@hotmail.co.uk

Shadforth Parish Council have set aside an amount of money in their budget that is available in the form of small grants of up to £300.  Should you wish to apply for a small grant, please complete the Small Grants form below and email to us at shadforthpc@hotmail.co.uk
